Lime Applications

Soil pH is Important!

Soil pH testing is an important, but often overlooked aspect of a lawn care program. Don't let your lawn or garden suffer from overly acidic or alkaline soil.

Lime helps to neutralize the acidity of the soil and allows the grass to efficiently use the provided nutrients from the fertilizers.

We'll Improve Your Soil pH Level

We'll Improve Your Soil pH Level

Soil pH is expressed as a number to the nearest tenth of a point. Optimal soil pH is between 6.8 and 6.9, which is considered slightly acidic. When your soil pH is in that range, it will most efficiently use the food we are giving it and look its best. A soil pH reading of 7.0 is neutral. If it is above 7.0, the soil is considered alkaline.

Call or email today and one of our trained technicians will test your soil pH for FREE and develop a lime/gypsum program to get your soil in the optimal range!
